  • 3rd DICAMP-Workshop at IHEC in Tunis

    Our 3rd DICAMP-Workshop will take place from 4-5th September, 2012 at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales Carthage (IHEC) in Tunis. The main objective of the workshop will be the meeting with DICAMP students. Besides there will be a presentation by all project partners about the results of the module co-development, the finalization of the time-tabling of the modules, a summary about the details of the placement of books and journals as well as an analyses of the progress activities and the collaboration on delivering joint work packages. We will inform you here about the results of our workshop as soon as we are back from Tunis.

    2nd project workshop at École Sup. Des Science Economiques et Commerciales de Tunis (ESSEC)

    On May 3rd & 4th 2012 the second DICAMP workshop took place at the École Sup. Des Science Economiques et Commerciales de Tunis (ESSEC) in Tunis, Tunisia. The workshop agenda was organized to focus on the progress of the project as well as its dissemination. The major result of the workshop is a further design of the curriculum and the allocation of teaching capacities. As part of the workshop all partners discussed theoretical and practical content of all fifteen modules, teaching methods, books and journals and possible project works.

    DICAMP – Field Monitoring Assessment

    On 25th April 2012 Tempus Project Officer Eva Valle Casanova visited DICAMP with the Field Monitoring Assessment. The meeting took place at École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis (ENIT), Tunis, Tunisia. The DICAMP partners presented the results of the first half of the year to the Project Officer who regarded the progress achieved so far as satisfactory.

    Curriculum of the master programme

    Programme taking steps forward
    The DICAMP-Curriculum has been finished and is a part of the accreditation application for the Tunisian Ministry of Education. In year 1 – the foundation elements – we look at what we have learned about answering these questions. And in year 2 – the ‘frontier’ elements – we look at how organizations are changing their approaches in the face of a shifting context and modifying or even changing their answers to these core questions. Also first ideas for cooperation with Tunisian companies were brought up. Furthermore the project website is in progress and will be online by the end of April.

    1st project workshop at École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis (ENIT)

    Teaching for the 21st century
    During the workshop in Tunis (20-21st February, 2012) Prof. Dr. John Bessant presented a first draft how to design the master programme on Innovation Management. After the project partners discussed who could teach which lectures in the modules, students of ENIT were invited to the meeting and got a first impression of the project and the content of the master programme. The accreditation application for the master programme was completed after the workshop and sent to the Tunisian Ministry of Education.

    Prof. Dr. Bessant brought up some key ideas for the development of the master programme and raised important questions, e.g. How could we teach in the 21st century? The project partners agreed that a focus on a local context as well as a global perspective is necessary.

    Welcome!

    The project DICAMP contributes to the modernization of study programmes curricula in Tunisian universities, by introducing a new master programme in innovation management.     Project Kick-Off

    Project Kick-off meeting in Leipzig
    On December 19-20 2011 the first project meeting (Kick-off meeting) took place in Leipzig at the Fraunhofer Center for Central and Eastern Europe (MOEZ). The meeting mainly focused on the interesting but also challenging work that has to be done during the three-year project time. Therefore the partners determined the next steps for the project which are: to design the master programme based on the above mentioned project objectives and to acquire qualified Tunisian students. In order to achieve these ambitious aims gradually the next meeting is scheduled for February 20 – 21 2012 in Tunis at École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis (ENIT) to start developing the master programme.
