During the course of the 3rd DICAMP Workshop in Tunis lecturers, organizational staff and the first students of the master programme got together to discuss the upcoming curriculum as well as other matters around the DICAMP project.
We were delighted to see most of our Tunisian and European partners on September 3rd at ENIT for the first meeting with the prospective and highly motivated students of the master programme. After the welcoming words of Prof. Reichwald and Prof. Bessant, the teaching team introduced themselves to the students and vice versa. Prof. Möslein gave a short overview about the relevant innovation literature most likely to be used during the studies. Furthermore the students received organizational information about staying abroad at a European institution, student life in Europe as well as the use of the DICAMP website. We hope this first and very pleasant encounter will be the start for a trustful and creative cooperation in the future.
The meetings on September 4th and 5th took place at IHEC and mainly focused on the curriculum and the next steps towards the accreditation of the master programme. European and Tunisian lecturers worked together on their modules, discussed and defined the content as well as planned the schedule and prepared the relevant documents for the accreditation institute. Additionally the implementation of the intensive Business English course for the students was discussed together with the British Council in Tunis which will be in charge for the teaching of this course. After a successful workshop day there was even more time to network and exchange about the DICAMP project at a lovely dinner reception organized by IHEC. As all participants were highly motivated most of our goals were accomplished and we can certainly refer to the workshop as a success.
The workshop was an important stepstone to intensify the relationship between the Tunisian, French, British and German partners and all visiting partners would like to warmly thank their generous hosts.
